News Factoids for Third Quarter 2016

Four new elements have been added to the periodic table, finally completing the table's seventh row and rendering science textbooks around the world instantly out of date. The elements, discovered by scientists in Japan, Russia and America, are the first to be added to the table since 2011, when elements 114 and 116 were added. {Dec 2015)

The Wall Street Journal declared in July 2016 a state of 'worldwide economic stagnation', based on a new study by the Mckinsey Global Institute that said: "Across 25 of the world’s advanced economies, about two-thirds of the population – more than half a billion people – earn the same as or less than their peers did a decade ago".
