The United States of America is on the cusp of a Constitutional crisis. Americans do not want this, but impeachment is the only (peaceful) means to prevent P.N.A.C. and the Bush bullies from declaring themselves a totalitarian government. If things do not go well, i.e. Constitutional protection for all Americans is further destroyed, then the likely result will be armed conflict in the streets of America, complete disruption of the American lifestyle, the collapse of commerce here and around the world, and perhaps a modern Dark Age.
• The price of gas/petrol won’t matter, because there won’t be any on the market.
• Extinction of the polar bear and destruction of natural habitat won’t matter, because humans will be in danger of extinction.
• The Middle East will erupt into a continental bloodbath.
• China will roll across Russia like Rommel did across the African deserts.
• Food safety inside America will not matter because there won’t be enough food produced within our borders to prevent the starvation of millions.
• The engine of the U.S. economy will implode, making the Weimar Republic’s inflation look like a raid on a piggy bank.
The sections that follow move briefly thru the history of P.N.A.C., the construction of U.S. concentration camps, the intentional destruction of rights in America, to the recently-decreed takeover strategy (with documentation), and a few predictions.

P.N.A.C was created in 1997, along with a "Statement of Principles" document dated June 1997, which defines an “imperial agenda of U.S. military expansionism”. Expectations in other documents about a ‘New Pearl Harbor’ event were satisfied by the attack on September 11, 2001, and are being touted as being fulfilled on an even larger scale ‘very soon’.
Important officials of P.N.A.C. include: co-founder & chairman William Kristol, most visible as a propagandist at Fox News; co-founder Robert Kagan, who lives in Belgium with his wife, Bush’s ambassador to N.A.T.O.; director Bruce P. Jackson, who was a weapons division vice president at Lockheed-Martin; and director Randy Scheunemann, who has been a foreign policy advisor to Sen. Trent Lott, to Secretary Donald R. Rumsfeld (on Iraq), and to G.O.P. presidential candidate John McCain.
Signatories to the Statement of Principles in 1997 include convicted liar Elliott Abrams; evangelical politico Gary Bauer; gambling addict William J. Bennett; First Brother Jeb Bush of Florida; traitor Dick Cheney; State Dept. lawyer Eliot A. Cohen; neo-conservative couple Midge Decter & editor-author Norman Podhoretz {in-laws of Elliott Abrams}; Fox News pundit Steve Forbes; current U.N. Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad; traitor & convicted liar ‘Scooter’ Libby; Dan Quayle; fired War Secretary Donald R. * * * * * * * *MARTIAL LAWPosse comitatus is a principle of common law going back centuries, with laws designed to prevent the government from using its military against its own people. The USA PATRIOT Act of October 2001 includes many exceptions to the posse comitatus restrictions of federal law (1878 & since). Section 104 of the PATRIOT Act authorizes the emergency use of the military in ‘case of attack with a weapon of mass destruction’.

As reported in WMail Issue #57 (March 2006), the Kellogg-Brown-Root spinoff from Halliburton got another no-bid government contract, with maximum total value of $385 million over a five-year term, to build concentration camps in the United States.

(Actually, this author is not likely to be on any Threat List maintained by the fascisti, but these concentration camps will hold a lot of people, roundups are likely to be indiscriinate, and lots of just plain folk will be detained without cause – even you and me.)
President Dubya has tried several times to get authorization to use the Army to quarantine large geographic areas in the event of an epidemic of avian bird flu (or similar excuse). The plan usually states that Federal troops would prevent entrance or exit to the quarantined area by anyone. {

The Military Commissions Act of November 2006 provides that aliens declared an ‘unlawful enemy combatant’ have no right to appeal their detention per habeas corpus {Article I, Section 9 of the U.S. Constitution). The War Department, the Justice Department, the lower courts and the Supreme Court are tossing this football back and forth, with the ultimate goal being a decision whether the right of habeas corpus applies to aliens or citizens or both or neither ‘during an emergency’.
Then-Attorney General Alberto Gonzales testified under oath before the Senate Judiciary Committee in January 2007 that the right of habeas corpus is not part of the Constitution. Sadly, he may be right. {

George Bush is now prepared to declare himself Dictator of the United States. His Emergency Presidential Directive 51 {N.S.P.D.-51 and H.S.P.D.-20}, dated 9 May 2007, states that the President can assume control of all three branches of government in the event of a ‘catastrophic emergency’ (defined as anything the President decides) anywhere in the world, and that all federal, state and local agencies are required to ‘cooperate’ with every edict from the President-slash-Dictator.

The most recent dangerous document from Dubya basically cancels the Fifth Amendment provisions for due process. The title of the quietly-posted 17 July 2007 document is Executive Order: Blocking Property of Certain Persons Who Threaten Stabilization Efforts in Iraq; its effect is that the President gives himself the power to sieze anyone that he decides is a threat, or that is suspected of being a future threat, and anyone that might conspire with others to be a threat, and to seize all property and freeze all assets of such persons, and that there is no recourse in law: no habeas corpus, no judicial review, and no one will even know when or where or why such a person is detained. (The detainees will likely be in a Halliburton-built concentration camp, but of course, the locations are very secret.)

* * * * * * * *PREDICTIONSPaul Craig Roberts, lifelong conservative Republican and former Asst. Secretary of the Treasury under Reagan, surprised many by writing an op-ed piece last summer entitled “Impeach Now: Or Face the End of Constitutional Democracy”. His central premise is the warning that after going to all the trouble of illegal wire-tapping of Americans, of building up the Blackwater & Triple Canopy mercenary armies, of inventing powers of the ‘unitary executive’ – that the P.N.A.C. folks will NOT hand over such powers to Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama (or to any other Democratic winner of a legitimate election). Therefore, Constitutional rule will be cancelled before the November 2008 national election – UNLESS the Bush gang is removed by impeachment.

In July, radio host Randi Rhodes interviewed a consultant to the C.I.A. and other agencies who stated that the United States has so few active military, or even National Guard, that the declaration of martial law can not be enforced. I was relieved for a while, and then I realized that all Der Führer has to do is order conscription of 18- to 25-year-olds into the military; or maybe not: without posse comitatus manpower to enforce such a draft, this may prove difficult. (There remain Blackwater’s goons.)
Unfortunately, the bottom line is the super-tough question: Is Bush a genius posing as an idiot, or an idiot posing as a genius?
Cheney is a psychopath, and Bush is psychotic, so there is no telling what they will do, even if, or especially if, the exercise of their false authority cannot work. The fascists of P.N.A.C. want chaos and anarchy, the collapse of the rule of law, and a fearful and compliant population.
They took us into Iraq, plans abound for the attack on Iran, this country is bankrupt, and the U.S. Constitution has been shredded – plans that work are not Bush’s strong suit.
Congress has already issued subpoenas for Harriet Meiers, Karl Rove, Alberto Gonzales and others; failure to appear will result in votes for ‘inherent contempt of Congress’, which will put them in jail. The impeachment of Rove and Gonzales and Bush and Cheney and Rice will lead to a critical confrontation between the three branches of government.
The year 2008 is certain to be a long and hot campaign year.
