NEW MEXICO DID THE 'BLUE TSUNAMI'

NM Democrats took back the Governor & Lt. Governor positions.
NM Democrats re-elected Senator Martin Heinrich.
NM Democrats took all three Congressional seats.

All the way down the ticket, Democrats won!
We kept both the state Legislature and Senate in control of Democrats.
Even won the big fight for State Land Commissioner.
And NM Democrats put a Latina and a female Native American in Congress.

Did any other states do this?

snippet from poet Langston Hughes [1901-67]

snippet from "Let America Be America Again" [1935] by poet Langston Hughes

The steel of freedom does not stain . . .

We, the people, must redeem
The land, the mines, the plants, the rivers.
The mountains and the endless plain --
All, all the stretch of these great green states --
And make America again!
