Honoring Journalism
If sanity is ever restored in Washington, DC there should be a movement for a federally-funded War Correspondents Memorial at Arlington or on the National Mall. They risked as much as any soldier, and usually carried no weapon but their pencil or pen. Names to include begin with Ernie Pyle [1900-45] and Edward R. Murrow [1908-65]. Maybe it should be given extra significance with a Tomb of the Unknown War Correspondent.
