TV Advertising
interesting idea today on Randi Rhodes's show on Air America Radio: the reason that the heavy TV advertising is for goods that you cannot afford or ever will is that Corporate America isn't buying the exposure {airtime} but that they are buying the broadcast content — the big money ad-buys for luxury goods are just something that can be withdrawn if the networks/stations disobey the Oligarchy by actually including real news stories ...
